Villa Charette is the latest self catering establishment on the touristic island of La Dique, built using a lot of local materials found on the property to give it a unique island finishing touch. Situated across the road to the beach in a quiet corner of La Passe with view of the Indian Ocean from most of your rooms. With only a handful of vehicles permitted on the island, traffic means bicycles, pedestrians and oxcarts. At only 200m from the jetty and the center, walking is the preferred option unless you want to visit around the island in which case you will need to hire a bike or a chauffeur driven buggy. Every evening you can watch and photograph the best sunset of the southern hemisphere from your balcony or from the beach right in front of your room. The large Takamaka trees on the property occasionally attracts the endemic Paradise Fly Catcher bird, the most famous resident of La Dique island. You can visit the surrounding islands and marine park by means of organized excursions offered by licensed operators which we will be happy to introduce you to on arrival. If you choose to try your luck on a fishing trip, we will be happy to assist you with BBQ facilities.

The Island of la Dique is the preferred island for most visitors to the Seychelles and at Villa Charette we do our best to make you part of this "Diquois" family. I live on site with my family and is available throughout your stay. We can introduce you to our partners offering other facilities to ensure you create and live your dream holiday. I have had a long career in several large hotels before building Villa Charette and create memories is my passion.

Villa Charette Self Catering is situated at La Passe, which the principal coastal village on La Dique Island. The commercial center and the jetty are within 5 minutes walking distance. Anse Source D'Argent, Anse Fourmi, Grand Anse are accessible by bicycle while Anse Maron, Petite Anse and Anse Coco are on hiking trails or by a short boat trip. Souvenirs shops are in the village center while to restaurants are well spread around the island requiring only a short walk.
