This is a lovely and recreational place to enjoy for both active skiers or addicted fishers or just for some wild nature experience and fresh air. During summer there are several places to go bicycling or just go for hiking. For your convenience the Scandinavian Mountains Airport is just 15min away flying from destinations around Europe.

My name is Niclas Andersson and I am the owner of the Nymon Mountain Lodge. I frequently go up to Nymon to just enjoy the fantastic surroundings and some relaxing time in the wilderness. I am Swedish and live in Gothenburg, I love skiing, hiking and sometimes fishing and just to breath the fresh air in the Scandinavian mountains.

Nearby there are many things to do for the active people. During summer you can rent canoes at the camping. Here you also by fishing card for river fishing. I can also recommend a half day trip to Swedens tallest waterfall, named Njupeskär. Its a 45 min drive north to Fulufjällets national park. The Swedish "Allemansrätt" gives you both obligations and freedom stay in the surrounding wilderness and forest picking berries, mushrooms make fire and stay over night in tents as long as you do this in a responsible manner. During winter time you have access to wonderful surroundings and sport activities. In Stöten Skiicentre you can within 5 min with car enjoy a truely amazing down hill and cross country skii facility. You can rent all equipment and after a full day on the mountain enjoy the afterskii and restaurant,. The facility have swimming pool, bowling tracks and more all available after booking in skii centre. You can also rent a scooter or just take the lift up on the mountain for a day tour on your cross country skii.
