The service home is directly adjacent to the residential building on the island of Storön, which is located just 15 minutes by boat from the harbor in Otterbäcken, the service home has its own terrace and its own entrance, it has 3 bedrooms with 6 beds. You have a large shower and separate wc. The kitchen is large and we have a grill on the terrace. There is also the possibility of a sauna down by the harbor with a wood-burning sauna. For those interested in fishing, it is fine to throw a rod from one of the jetties or take a dinghy/paddle board and slide out on the water and fish. In nature on the island you have leafy walking paths in old forest and on the southwestern part of the island there is a cottage area with summer houses. The island is car-free, so the little traffic there is with a few four-wheelers, a tractor and bicycles. To Storön you take the taxi boat Baljan, which picks you up on arrival at the harbor in Otterbäcken, to the island you take what you consume such as food, drinks and snacks. The only thing that can be bought on the island is ice cream in the small ice cream kiosk. Something we also recommend during a stay is to book a charter with the taxi boat around the archipelago to see more of Vänern and visit one of the many archipelago restaurants. We who live on the island where Storön farm is located are Judit, Alexander and our 2 children. We have lived on Storön since 2016 and are the only year-round residents in the archipelago. We run the taxi boat and in winter the tours are run with a hovercraft. We love Storön and our animals that live on the farm. We have sheep, chickens, rabbits and a cat.

The service residence is located on an island outside Otterbäcken, which you can only reach by boat. The tranquility of Storön and the nature is something very special and it is easy to really get into the groove with leafy walks and what from cliffs with the sunrise from the east coast of the island and the sunset from the west coast of the island.
