There are more and more activities on the yearly calendar but what can beat an early morning stroll around the lake which is just a nice 15 minutes walk away? From Bled Castle you can spy the island in the middle of the lake and of course, visiting it by pletna is a highlight of any trip. Have a romantic dinner at a lakeside restaurant or perhaps a horse carriage ride, weddings are very popular here! You can walk, ride or take the tourist train around the lake. Climb the surrounding hills for excellent vantage points. You can also use the lake as a base for exciting day trips to Lake Bohinj, Vintgar Gorge, Radovljica and Kropa.
