Hello and welcome to Huan Kawin. My name is Somluk, the daughter of the owner, my beloved mother. I returned home to open our family’s Lanna wooden house as a warm and peaceful guest home. Here, we welcome people from around the world to experience the genuine charm of Lanna culture and the beauty of living in a heritage home that has been with our family for generations — right in the heart of Chiang Rai city.

Huan Kawin Est.58 is a traditional Lanna wooden house lovingly built by Grandpa Tha Kawin in 1958 (B.E. 2501). Crafted entirely by hand, this 66-year-old home stands as a living symbol of our family’s heritage and Chiang Rai’s rich Lanna culture. Passed down through generations, Huan Kawin carries the warmth, stories, and spirit of our ancestors. Every wooden beam and carved detail reflects the artistry and wisdom of a bygone era — a reminder of simpler times and deep family bonds. Today, we have opened our beloved home as a bed & breakfast, inviting travelers from around the world to experience the essence of authentic Lanna living. Here, you can rest in a heritage home filled with history, surrounded by the gentle scent of teakwood, and embraced by true northern Thai hospitality.
