Hideaway is an exotic Villa set in unspoiled south of Koh Samui, 150 mtrs from Laem Set beach. A perfect and romantic getaway for couples and for up to 2 people. Spacious double Bedroom with air conditioning, fully fitted Kitchen, exotic Balinese & Thai style open plan Living and Dining area, also an additional Indoor Living area with air conditioning, salt water swimming pool, tropical garden and beautiful wrap around Lotus Pond with colourful carp, catfish and turtles. There are two Living areas: One open plan with also a Dining area with table and chairs; Second Indoor Living area with air conditioning; Both of these have large screen SMART TVs with Netflix, Youtube, etc. Fitted Kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, gas hob, toaster, microwave, blender, kettle, coffee maker, rice maker and washing machine. Double Bedroom has king size bed, air conditioning and large overhead fan. French doors lead from the Bedroom to the lovely decking and salt water swimming pool. The swimming pool has a lovely, surrounding tropical garden, sun deck, sun beds and sun umbrellas where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful, tropical ambiance at the villa. Relocating to Koh Samui from Cirencester, UK, in 2005, David's love affair with Thailand began in 1990, with Koh Samui emerging as his favoured destination. Motivated by prospect of a new business venture, he made the bold decision to establish a thriving rental enterprise on the island. With a background in Cirencester's flooring business, coupled with extensive involvement in property development and rental, David's passion for creating diverse properties flourished in the UK. Seeking a fresh challenge, the allure of Koh Samui became irresistible. Since his move, David has successfully crafted 15 properties, including 11 luxurious villas available for rental. Ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, each villa boasts its own private swimming pool, with four offering breathtaking ocean views, all designed in unique and tropical styles. Notably, our flagship Villa Moonstone, a source of great pride, reached completion in January 2020. Hideaway Villa is located within the charming area of Laem Sett in southern part of the island. Five to 10 minutes drive from the villa are many fine restaurants serving delicious food. Laem Sett is an attractive area with a small, local beach 150 mtrs walk from the villa. It is quiet and secluded, in a natural unspoiled area. Located on the beach Thai style Cool Bar. You can enjoy lovely food and drinks, whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere. Also nearby is a smart Hotel with restaurant and couple of bars. Within a few minutes walk from Hideaway Villa is Pole Pole Restaurant. Just few minutes drive from the villa or 8 min walk are 7-Eleven and Tops Daily, 24 hour shops, with ATMs together with Baan Lamon Restaurant. Only 10 minutes is Lamai beach with excellent restaurants and water sports along the beach. Many of the island's main attractions are less than 10 minute drive from the villa such as Elephant trekking, Waterfalls, Thai boxing etc. Only a 25 minute drive is the seaside town of Chaweng. We can arrange a car or moped rental for you. Please contact us for details. Please note: All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred. It is the guests' responsibility to ensure they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand. All our vehicles will have a full tank of petrol for you. Please ensure you return the vehicle at the end of your stay with a full tank. No ‘off-roading’ or driving in harsh terrain. The rental car is not to be driven off the island. For grocery shopping, Lotus's Superstore and popular large food supermarket, Makro, both in Lamai, are 12 min drive from the villa. You will also find a number of 24 hour smaller convenience stores of 7 Eleven. Nowhere on the island is more than 45 minutes drive away.
