Tassana Pra is located in a private hilltop estate in the most desirable part of the Island, the north-east peninsula. In front, nothing obstructs the views of ocean, bays, beaches, and islands, as well as the distant hills of the island's interior. At the rear, and sides, there's only greenery and gardens. That said, we are a 5 minute drive from Big Buddha Beach, Chengmon Beach, and just 15 minutes from the bright lights of Chaweng Beach with its plethora of good restaurants of all kinds, shops and nightlife. In the immediate vicinity down the hill can be found several convenience stores, and several highly recommended local restaurants. Bophut's charming and quaint Fisherman's Village is 15 minutes away, and contains many beach-front restaurants serving every conceivable cuisine. We are also just 5 minutes from Bangrak Market, where the fishing boats unload their wares, and the seafood is the freshest on the island. Khun Oy is a frequent customer, as she prepares her exquisite Thai cuisine for our house guests. We're located close to the ferry departure point for neighbouring Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, and beyond. The airport is also within easy reach.
