BeachGate CondoSuites is a family owned and operated facility. Starting in the early 90s, the Kuhn family opened up building 1, with just 4 available rooms. In 1998, building 2 was built and added another 24 rooms on property. From 2006 to 2008, more expansion took place as we constructed buildings 3, 4 and 5, bringing our total room numbers over 70. BeachGate did begin to sell some of the units, and our facility is now made up of more than 40 owners. The management company has continued to be run by the Kuhn family, with Sean McGrath performing exceptionally in the role of General Manager. It’s a small staff here, with a team of less than 15 to handle all aspects of the business. Our office hours are 8am-9pm, with Sean handling all calls after hours from his onsite location. Our front desk staff excels in customer service and guest satisfaction, while doing an exceptional job handling guest phone calls and making reservations. Our housekeepers are highly trained and proficient in cleaning the rooms and getting them ready for check in by 4pm. We also have a full-time maintenance employee on property to handle any problems that arise.

BeachGate CondoSuites is an ocean front hotel and resort located RIGHT ON the beach in Port Aransas. We have 5 buildings on property totaling over 70 rooms. Room diversity is one of our strongest attributes, as we boast more than 10 room types to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a standard hotel 1 Queen, or a 4 bedroom 4 bath condo for the entire family, we have you covered with numerous options. Our facility is pet friendly with per night fee, but every unit is individually owned so it will vary by room. We currently have 2 pools on property - one is heated with a connecting hot tub. A 3rd pool is scheduled to begin construction in late June. Our pool areas also offer 2 BBQ grills, pool chairs and palapas, shuffleboard court and corn hole. Exclusive to BeachGate is our own private beach driveway – which is restricted with gate access by our guests only. We also have guest laundry facilities and a vending machine on site. There is a fire-pit area out towards the beach, horseshoe pits, serenity garden, as well as numerous dog walking areas. For our guests coming down to fish, we have a fish cleaning house on property as well. 4 of the 5 buildings have elevator access.

The biggest activity down here is the golf cart rentals.
