You'll feel like you've gone off the grid within this tranquil section of the Colorado River. Whether you're spending your days floating next to the dock, adventuring out on the provided blow-up kayaks, sampling the wares at local wineries, or just relaxing at home in the hammock, your stay here is sure to be the highlight of your next vacation in the heart of the state. This charming, family-friendly vacation rental offers spectacular views of the water from both levels and almost every room. Prepare your favorite dishes in the well-equipped, full kitchen, complete with a wine fridge, and then dine shoulder to shoulder at the attached breakfast bar, out back on the furnished patio, or over the water on the covered dock. You'll also find a gas grill for putting a little extra char on your home-cooked menu. After meals, meet up in the lower-level living area to stream your favorite channels on the TV, or climb the spiral staircase and kick back in the second living space where you'll find a sofa bed, another TV, and a wide variety of board games for rainy day fun. Back outside, enjoy 85 feet of waterfront on Lake LBJ, where you can also put your boat in from the neighboring lot, which offers one of only two neighborhood boat ramps. Bring your fishing rod and catch a five-pound bass - this quiet stretch of the lake provides great fishing. There are plenty of spots out back to relax, soak up the sunshine, and watch for visiting wildlife, so pick a chair or a chaise lounge and unwind.
