The historic town of Wiscasset is fondly known as the "prettiest village in Maine," and walking around and taking pictures is a dream come true for history buffs - be sure to explore the "Museum in the Streets" walking tour. Inside you'll find a bright interior filled with natural light and new kitchen appliances, as well as a warm feeling of welcome throughout the space. Enjoy spacious rooms, delightful architecture, and a sprinkle of history among the modern upgrades. The chef of your group will love preparing grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the fully updated kitchen, featuring stainless steel appliances, a massive floating island breakfast bar, and all the space you need to maneuver. Around the corner from the formal dining room is a full walk-in pantry with a wine rack and wet bar. For those who need to stay connected, there are four work-from-home spaces, complete with desks, chairs, and monitors. The bathrooms have been fully remodeled and upscaled to boast luxurious walk-in showers. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles. Air conditioning is only available in certain parts of the home. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
