Our home was concrete frame duplex built in 1972 and shows its age in some areas. Part of why I am doing Airbnb is to help support my mom while she retires and also to help upgrade her front unit, and continue the work we have done in this back unit. Our goal is to provide unmatched value for our guests. The room is packed with amenities. We've lived in this home for 35 years, one of the longest families living in our neighborhood and know the area well. We also strive to show we are in the hospitality industry not a passive income venture that has become all to common among many hosts and gives good hosts on this platform a bad name. Our goal is to make our listing the most affordable option & to exceed any WFM solutions provided by any business or workforce hotel with a homey and local touch. For guests on work trips, the room includes a desk & computer chair with high speed WiFi as well as wired ethernet access (400/50) under the desk. There is also an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) under the desk. This provides surge protection & a back up battery for your devices for about 10 to 15 mins. This allows you to keep working in the event of a momentary outage and/or allow the user to safely save their work & shut down their devices in the event of a longer power outage. The homes internet router & modem are also on a battery back up as well. This prevents momentary (up to 15 min) internet outages due to power surges or momentary outages. Even though we have made the room as close to an efficiency as possible, please know that it is a sleeping quarters and does not including cooking facilities. However, please feel free to enjoy the shared spaces. I'm welcoming you into my entire home and that includes the kitchen and laundry room.

Largo is the 4th largest city in Tampa Bay, with a population over 80k. We are proud not just of our counties record tourism but also that cities like Largo play a key role that allows our county have the 2nd highest manufacturing/industrial output in Florida. Our neighborhood is working class, made up of duplexes with a mix of renters & homeowners. Most keep to their own and our friendly and kind Don't forget to try our favorite spots like Amici's, the best southern Italian food Pinellas County has to offer. Our favorite sports bar and wing spot just down the street at Whiskey Joe's. If you are looking for a decent Pizza, Bro's Pizzeria & Bar is great & China One has our favorite American style Chinese Food.
