Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast is located on the Ryman Kona Coffee Farm. It has 5 rooms and serves a delicious homemade breakfast daily from 8am to 10am. The coffee farm consists of 3,000 Kona Typica coffee trees, including a variety of fruit trees and ice cream bean trees. Enjoy beautiful views of the coffee fields with ocean views from the lanai and dining area. Enjoy the shade under the kiosk or sit on a lounge chair on the lawn and enjoy the sun. Hawaii is home to many beautiful birds, including wild pheasants, chickens, turkeys, cardinals, and saffron finches. Don't forget the ever-present geckos, chameleons and coqui frogs. Enjoy an aloha experience on a beautiful farm.
Aloha and welcome to the Big Island. So many wonderful activities abound in our oasis that is Hawaii. We are big fans of excellent coffee, and the Kona Coffee is world renowned. The Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast is situated at the top of our 8 acre parcel and overlooks the coffee fields below. We also love cooking homemade breakfasts and use ingredients from our farm when in season including chayote, jaboticaba, bananas, banana flowers, star apples, oranges, papayas, ice-cream-beans pods and more.
The Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast is located on the Lyman Kona Coffee Farm. We have 5 rooms and serve a delicious homemade breakfast daily between 8 and 10 am. So many of the activities available in the Kona Kailua area are within a 5 to 15 minute drive from our location: Hiking the Makuala O'Oma Trail, visiting the Kaloko Cloud Forest on the Honua'ula Forest Reserve, Golfing at the Makalei Golf Course, Chartered Sport Fishing with one of our partners at the Honokohau Marina, swimming and surfing at Pine Beach, snorkeling or diving with one of our partners. Manta Ray night diving is a must and is based just a 10 minute drive from our location. Not to mention, we are the closest Bed and Breakfast to the Kona Airport.
