Savannah Inn is owned and operated by us – Jana and Jim Owen. Like 5 kids and 3 dogs (now 5!) was not enough – we decided to jump feet-first into the BnB world in 2022. We have owned and operated many rental properties at the Delaware Beaches for 12 years and absolutely love where we live (in Lewes!!), the people we meet and the experiences that we help create. We were drawn to Lewes 10 years ago by its historic charm, fabulous restaurants, Cape Henlopen State Park, the beautiful beaches and especially the locals.

Property information

The Savannah Inn is located Historic District of the "First Tow in the First State" of this great nation...Historic Lewes , Delaware. This Edwardian brick structure was built in 1910 and has stood against the aging of time. Recently restored, the Savannah Inn is just steps away from the shops, gallerias and restaurants that have made Lewes one of Delaware's most visited destinations.

The City of Lewes, Delaware is located where the Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean meet, the area known as Cape Henlopen. The naturally beautiful area with beaches on both the ocean and the bay, trails, and nature preserves add to the many reasons to visit this small historic town founded by the Dutch in 1631. In addition to natural beauty, this charming city offers a wonderful historic district, with architecture dating back to the 17th century, museums, special tours, cozy accommodations, restaurants to please any palate, and unique shops and boutiques all within walking distance of each other. Among the many reasons that people are attracted to Lewes is to experience the many exciting events here. There is something for everyone - year 'round. They offer fun, education, live music and theater, outdoor activities, an independent film festival, an award-winning farmers market, and so much more!
