Nestled on pristine Southport Island, this charming 2BR/2BA cottage – affectionately known at Romley House – offers a welcoming respite with picturesque Maine scenery. Interior features include hardwood floors, a fireplace, post and beam ceilings, rustic furnishings, and vintage decor. Your family-friendly getaway also offers prime outdoor living space, with a deck and peekaboo ocean views through spruce trees. Pack a picnic and walk to Hendricks Head Beach or grab lunch from the Southport General Store. Historic downtown Boothbay Harbor is located just 5 miles away. LIVING AREAS Antique furnishings and a fireplace are on display in the living room, outfitted with a futon and two armchairs. Unwind upstairs in the second living area with vaulted ceilings, a flat-screen TV, and cozy window nooks -- perfect for curling up with a book. Catch views of the ocean and Seguin Lighthouse from the expansive windows. KITCHEN & DINING Get cooking in the brand-new gourmet kitchen, equipped with quality stainless steel appliances – including a five-burner gas stove. Convenient gadgets include a toaster, coffee maker, and lobster pot. When it’s time to eat, enjoy meals at the dining table with seating for six. BEDROOMS & BATHS This two-story cottage sleeps six total in two bedrooms and a queen futon in the living room. Two full baths are each stocked with a complimentary supply of toiletries and plenty of plush towels. Make yourself at home in the second-floor master bedroom, furnished with a king bed and flat-screen TV with Chromecast. The en-suite master bathroom has a walk-in shower and a convenient Keurig machine for morning coffee. The second bedroom features a comfy queen bed. A recently renovated second bath with a tub/shower combination is located on the first floor.

No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
