Local East TN residents who love the peace and serenity the mountains of East TN have to offer. I'm originally from Rhode Island but have called TN home since 1995. I'm a Harley-Davidson Rider and enthusiast, a runner and fan of World Travel. We're happy to provide you with a clean, quiet, comfortable cabin near the Great Smoky Mountains to enjoy.

Secluded, dog-friendly cabin perfect for couples or small families! Welcome to Dancin' In The Moonlight, part of Mountain Mist Cabins — your peaceful Smoky Mountain retreat just minutes from top attractions. This newly decorated 1-bedroom + loft, 1-bath cabin offers rustic charm with modern comforts. The downstairs bedroom features a KING bed, while the loft includes a Full-sized bed — ideal for families or friends. (Note: Loft stairs are steep and narrow; please use caution.) Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi and brand-new Roku-equipped Smart TVs: ✔ 55” UHD TV in the living room ✔ 43” UHD TVs in both the bedroom and loft — log into your favorite streaming apps. Enjoy the open-concept living area with an electric fireplace (Oct–Mar) for warmth and cozy ambiance. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, a drip coffee maker, and Keurig — bring your favorite coffee or K-cups to start your mornings right. 🌳 Outdoor Enjoyment: ✔ Relax on the porch surrounded by peaceful woods ✔ Shared community fire pit just down the driveway ✔ Flat gravel driveway — motorcycle friendly (bring something for your kickstand). Privacy varies by season: nearby cabins may be visible during winter when trees are bare but are naturally screened during Spring, Summer, and Fall. 📍 Location: ✔ 5 minutes (2.5 miles) to Tuckaleechee Caverns ✔ 7 minutes (4 miles) to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance near Cades Cove. Guests enjoy full private access to the cabin with keyless entry. Shared laundry facilities available nearby. We welcome well-behaved, house-trained dogs over 1 year old with approval. Please message your dog’s age and breed after booking for confirmation. Pet fee of USD 100 per stay applies. Limit is 2 dogs, but we may allow 3 with an extra USD 50 fee. Guests are responsible for any damages beyond normal wear. Please use designated pet areas and clean up after your dogs. This is a dog-friendly home and may not suit guests with severe all allergies.

✔ We welcome guests 21 years of age and older to book and be the primary renter.
✔ To ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, please make sure your guest count matches your reservation. Unregistered guests may incur an additional fee (25USD/person per night) or require adjustments to the stay.
✔ To ensure a peaceful experience for everyone in the area, we kindly ask guests to observe quiet hours between 10PM and 9AM.
✔ Help us keep the wildlife wild and safe! Please store all food indoors and secure trash only within the provided bear-proof bins. Leaving food or trash outside can attract bears and other curious critters.
✔ Enjoy observing wildlife from a safe distance. For their safety and yours, please refrain from feeding or approaching any animals. Feeding bears, in particular, puts them and humans at risk and can have serious consequences for the bears.
✔ The hot tub is for guests 21 and older. Alcohol and pregnancy-related use are prohibited. Use the hot tub at your own risk.
✔ Enjoy the cozy ambiance of the fireplace during the cooler months (it’s operational from October 1st through March 31st).
✔ For safety reasons and per local regulations, open flames (including candles and unauthorized outdoor fires) are not permitted. We appreciate your cooperation in preventing fire hazards. Misuse may result in a 250USD fee plus any damage costs.
✔ We provide a starter supply of towels, linens, shampoo, soap, and even toothbrushes just in case you forget yours!
✔ While we stock the basics, please remember to bring your favorite coffee, K-cups, condiments, and food storage items like zip locks to make your stay perfect.
✔ We trust you’ll treat our cabin with care, just as you would your own home. Please note that guests are responsible for any damages incurred during their stay.
✔ Please note that all amenities may not be available at all times.
✔ Need a little extra time? Early check-in or late check-out may be possible for a 50USD fee, depending on the cleaning schedule
