This custom home, beautifully constructed from stone and natural logs, sits on 10.13 acres of lush private forest. Quiet and secluded yet minutes from Deadwood, this home truly lets you escape from it all. This cabin borders Forest Service land to the north and south, which allows for privacy, beautiful views, and abundant wildlife passing through. The outdoor space is set up for any kind of gathering, offering a regulation horseshoe pit, a firepit with plenty of seating, and a patio that can accommodate the whole family. In fact, this cabin was made for families, with personal touches to make everyone feel right at home. On the main floor, there's an open kitchen, a dining room, and a great room with vaulted ceilings and a wood stove. The expansive deck provides 360-degree views of the Black Hills of South Dakota. On the upper level, there are two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a cozy loft that's open to the great room and the dining room. On the lower level, you'll find one bedroom, one bathroom, a bar area, and a game room with a game table, a chest full of games, poker chips for the competitive ones, and a dart board. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximun occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices -not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
