Hi there! We're native Oregonians, a family of 7 with 20 grandchildren and counting. Coming from a large family hosting is native to us and we love it! Lonny and I first built our home 22 years ago and his love for building and mine for interior design of homes has taken us to where we are now. Pet Policy: We are glad to host your pets too (as in dogs 🐶). Anything beyond that — lizards, ferrets, emotional support peacocks — needs a little pre-approval, just so we’re all on the same page. Regardless of how well trained the pet is, we have found pets do crazy things at unfamiliar locations. I really do not want to charge for cleaning carpets or floor rugs. It’s a pain, so please READ carefully! Thank you! We ask for compliance in a few house rules: 🛋️ No pets on the furniture — no matter how much they side-eye ya. 🚪 No pets in the bedrooms. We just replaced carpets and are trying to keep things fresh and fur-free. 🛏️ Bring their own bedding if possible to prevent marking or nervous accidents. Trust us, they do happen! If you don’t have any, let me know — I’ve got extra pet blankets you can use. 🚿 No pet baths in the tub. That spa day is for humans only. 🚧 Please keep them on wood flooring, use the baby gates provided or close bedroom doors to ensure compliance. 🚫 No unkenneled solo pet parties — please don’t leave your pet unattended unless properly crated. 🐶 Need pet care while you're out? We’ve got a Rover sitter on standby — just say the word. 💩 Please scoop the poop. It’s basic trail etiquette and good humaning. There is a pet fee per dog, inquire for more details.

Because noise tends to travel so well in these gorgeous homes, we've tried to soundproof to the best of our abilities. Please be aware if the upstairs unit is rented, the downstairs unit may still hear some noise. *Please note correct pricing is based on correct guest count. The driveway is shared with two other rental units on site. Availability is on a first come first serve basis however if you'd like exclusive access please ask about renting it during your stay. Downtown Albany is a unique and historic place. You will see many cute shops, boutiques, and antique stores. The antiquity of the historic downtown is what makes it special. Being very walkable, you are free to park your car and explore the 100's of shops, restaurants, museums, live theaters, and the historical Carousel and Museum. With the Willamette river nearby, Monteith River-park is home to summer's River Rhythm concert series.
