Hello! Welcome to the Mountain Brook Inn! Located squarely in the Catskills of New York, The Mountain Brook Inn was bound to be a signature gathering point from the moment that Mrs. Anna Wolf purchased the land in 1960. Originally named The Mountain Brook Chalet, Mrs. Wolf brought her dream to life through the strength of her vision and the arm of her son, Peter. The Chalet opened to the world in 1965 and was single-handedly run by Mrs. Wolf as the beacon of inspiration it was destined to be. Passed from her capable hands to those of Mr. Gary Simmons in 2003, The Chalet was renamed The Mountain Brook Inn and continued to prosper with the addition of St. Bernards, a pack of roaming chickens, and weekly family dinners. For the last 20 years, Mr. Gary has ushered The Inn into the 21st century, built on its charm, and furthered its reputation as a refuge for those who seek rest and a chance to reconnect with themselves. We are excited and honored that Mr. Gary has passed us the mantle of innkeeper for The Mountain Brook Inn and are busy working on how we can best continue its history as a place of wonder and inspiration on its continued journey through time. -David and Emily
