Neighbourhood information

We are about 5 miles from the Historic downtown of Stillwater, with many restaurant and antique shops, boutiques, etc. Our area is very safe, mostly residential and farmland. The Inn itself is located in a beautiful 300 acre wooded-parkland , with many miles of trails for skiing, hiking, horseback riding and biking. The Park is called Pine Point Park and it is at the head of the Gateway Trail , a paved trail that connects to Saint Paul and also to the new Brown Creek trail going Downtown Stillwater. We are also about 5 minutes from the beautiful Saint Croix River ( at the origins of the Mississipi ) thus very close to several marinas, public landings, scenic views and historic sites. Square Lake park is only 10 minutes from the Lodge: if you enjoy a day at the lake, this is one of the nicest locations to swim in very clear and clean waters.
