Found in the naturally diverse and picturesque region of St. Lucia on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast, Lake View Cabanas is a tucked away refuge of relaxation and offers the perfect space from which to explore this verdant region and its many offerings – including the St. Lucia Estuary, iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Cape Vidal and the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, Africa’s oldest game park. St Lucia is a small, seaside town packed with friendly locals, craft markets, quaint restaurants and cafes, and is within excellent proximity to most of the region’s top draw-card attractions. With an abundance of outdoor activities ranging from fishing, diving, snorkelling, game viewing and bird watching, Lake View Cabanas is the ideal escape for nature-loving families or couples. The resort itself is host to a number of onsite facilities, including its own restaurant – Alfredos, a swimming pool and secluded bathing area, onsite sauna, Jacuzzi and organised entertainment to be enjoyed throughout the day or at night. Lake View Cabanas is situated in St. Lucia on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast, a small, friendly town nestled in the centre of one of the most picturesque and naturally diverse parts of South Africa. St. Lucia is home to both the iSimangaliso Wetland Park – a World Heritage Site, protected for its plethora of species and natural diversity as well as the Hluluwe-Imfolozi Park, the oldest game reserve in Africa where Zulu kings such as Dingiswayo and Shaka hunted and put in place the first conservation laws, and home to the African ‘Big Five’. Along with this, St. Lucia and surrounds offer exceptional beaches, making for world-class fishing, diving and whale watching in this region. A holiday at Lake View Cabanas is therefore the ideal destination for outdoor and wildlife loving families. The Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park is just under an hour from Lake View Cabanas, and offers game drives throughout the reserve daily.
