Sit on the spacious veranda of this delightful 2 bedroom cottage set on a hillside ,overlooking a winding river running through a forest of poplar tress. You can enjoy the sounds of the bubbling river leading down to a waterfall on the adjoining property and listen to the abundant bird life. Or you can enjoy magnificent walks or picnics down at the river. Or you may just wish to sit and appreciate the magnificent views.The cottage is situated 1.4 kms from Michaelhouse Boys School, on the Midlands Meander and offers free Wifi, DSTV and Netflix. It boasts a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with a free standing fireplace for those cold, wintery days. The upstairs mezzanine can sleep children over the age of 5 years and has its own separate toilet and hand basin. It is centrally situated with several popular Midlands attractions and restaurants within easy driving distance and is easily accessible from the N3. It is either an ideal romantic getaway for 2 or a family of 4.
We have tried to create a a warm and comfortable " home away from home' with special attention made to detail and cleanliness. Our intention is to try to treat our guests as if they were guests in our own home and yet at the same time allow them the space and seclusion many need when trying to escape the humdrum of every day to day life.
C'est La Vie is situated 1.4 kms from Michaelhouse Boys Schools and is within 10kms driving distance from many local attractions on the Midlands Meander. This includes Lalampara Italian Restaurant, Granny Mouse Country House, The Railhouse Farm Stall, Rawdons Hotel and Piggley Wiggley. It is 10kms from the nearest supermarket, bottle store and pharmacy and several more coffee shops and restaurants which are all in Nottingham Road. The Earth Route Farmers Market held every Saturday morning in Nottingham Road is another local attraction. Boschhoek Golf Course and Gowrie are both situated within a 10km radius for golfing enthusiasts. C'est La Vie is situated on the Old Currys Post Road and easily accessible from the N3 or the R103.
