Green Door Cottage is nestled behind the Mataffin Koppie, not far from the Mbombela Stadium. The rural setting offers spectacular sunsets and mountain views from the deck. There is abundant bird life as well as small game.
Stephen and Wendy are very active with Parkrun and Green Door Cottage is conveniently located near the Riverside Reserve Parkrun and within half an hours drive of the Klipspringer and White River Parkruns.
Stephen and Wendy manage a small indigenous plant nursery on the property. Tours of the nursery by arrangement. Mountain hikes also by arrangement.
A prime rural location 33 km from KMIA and 6km from the Mbomebela stadium. A tranquil rural setting with easy access to the town. Note that access is via 3.5 km of dirt road. After heavy rain the condition of the road could be problematic for cars with low clearance.
