Mogwase is a township situated in Bojanala district in the Moses Kotane Local Municipality,South Africa.It is close to the two major tourist attractions in the North West namely: The Pilanesberg National Park and Sun city.The Legendary Roaring Lagoon at the Valley of Waves is the undisputed main attraction at the Sun City's famous water park and a must visit area of Sun City.Hot air balloon rides gives the most beautiful scenery within the entire park which can be viewed in the Mankwe Dam region, a perfect place to spot a wide variety of animals. Mogwase is a fast developing township because of the rapid growth of the platinum industry in the North West.Sun City has a variety of restaurants, Pilanesberg National Park has restaurants and picnic sides in the hills. Closer to the guesthouse there is Steers,Debounairs Pizza,Chisanyama and local restaurants which offer african cuisine.Nearby in the village there is Mphebatho Cultural Museum where african stories are told.Come and meet the old and the new-go on a pilgrimage to meet our ancestors in the craddle of humankind and meet the Tswana people of today.A place to be adventurous and original,come home with something to brag about
