I am extremely passionate about people and therefore decided to make Yzerfontein my permanent home. By creating accommodation with a boutique spa was my ultimate dream. I was inspired to create something that does not only provide accommodation, but also add to the overall well-being of our guests. I have 18 years experience in accommodation and have been in the corporate world for 27 years. Now I just want to make people smile and assist people to build beautiful memories at our establishment. I am married to Savy Ciaglia, an Italian with a heart of gold. We love living in Yzerfontein, where we are part of a wonderful and accommodating community.

Yzerfontein is situated approximately 90 kilometres from Cape Town and has many great attractions in and around the area for guests to enjoy. This includes amongst others the 16-mile beach, the West Coast Nature Reserve, popular hiking hiking and cycling trails, a beautiful flower season and seasonal visits from the whales. Darling, a beautiful town, just 25 kilometres away, features a state of the art brewery, Evita's Perron, and numerous agri tourism drawcards. This includes wine routes where wine, olives and a variety of cheeses are some of the popular commodities on offer. In addition to this, game reserves in the close vicinity of Pearl Bay are home to some of Africa's greats such as Lion, Buffalo, White Rhino and Giraffe.
