It has been our dream for about 20 years to convert the property into a premier guest house. Our dream was delayed for approximately 18 years while we lived in the Middle East where we worked in the retail, hospitality and educational sectors. Driven by a desire for our children to more fully appreciate their South African and African heritage, our family relocated back to South Africa at the end of 2020 upon which we started to convert the property into Mereke Manor as well as set up a pre school education centre Playway Academy, Both Janine and I have a heart for hosting and a love for people. We wanted to create a lodge in the heart of Centurion where guest will be treated to a memorable stay with amenities that will make you feel you stay at a five star resort but which also feels homely and familiar. We feel extremely blessed to live our dream by creating a holiday/overnight destination for others. Sharing our hospitality with those staying at our guest house makes us enjoy and appreciate the life we were given so much more!

At Mereke Manor we consider ourselves to be more of a guest lodge than simply your standard guest house/B&B. We strive for excellence; from the moment you arrive at our Concierge to the moment you book out to travel back or further your journey. Mereke Manor is located within a security access controlled Zwartkop neighbourhood, nestled between lush greenery and decades old trees. The area is quiet, extremely safe and noise free. Our location is also only 1.5km from Centurion's premier Mall (Centurion Mall) as well as The Gate Shopping Complex. Our garden offers multiple seating areas for book reading, bird watching or just relaxation with a glass of wine. Our African themed self-serving bar has a 65" flat screen LED TV where you can enjoy local or international sporting events. As leisure activities we offer a pool table and tennis table; or you can simply enjoy cooling down in our seasonal indoor pool during summer and spring. Our continental breakfast is served between 7am and 9am and can be enjoyed either in our dining room or under our thatch roofed rustic farm themed patio next to our indoor pool. All our rooms are equipped with a/c, smart TV's, Free WIFI, hair dryers and much more!
