The Ou Klipskuur Self-Catering Accommodation at Helpmekaar Farm was developed during the first semester of 2017, a lifelong dream that came true. The old stone building dated from the early 30's, once used as a house and later as a garage, was the ideal premise for our development. The decor consists of things that we had on the farm and we bought only the necessary. We made use of our creativity and the end product, a lovely cottage-like building. The Ou Klipskuur Self-Catering Accommodation offers something for everyone, from relaxing next to the farm dam, hiking- and mountain biking trails and exploring the Fraserburg area. The starry nights and sunny days will revive and restore everyone.

I'm Annemè from the Ou Klipskuur Self-Catering Accommodation at Helpmekaar Farm. I'm a person with a passion for people and I enjoy my guests a lot. We shall always give our best and will try our utmost to make each an every one feels as welcome as possible. Our place is; "a home far from home"! We're looking forward to welcome you at our establishment and will love to help you experiencing the Karoo with all its beauty and interests .

There are numerous attractions in the town of Fraserburg and these include historical walking trails, the Old Parsonage Museum, the Pepper Bus, Korbeel House, Spore in the Gansfontein Paleo Surface, Post Route and the Login Theatre Festival. The nearby town of Sutherland offers the SALT Observatory and NP van Wyk Louw House. The town of Loxton has a colorful history and in the area of Carnarvon, there is the SKA which is a large field of satalites and Fly In which is a popular aircraft show held annually.
