Located 1 km from the shoreline at Gearing's Point and 7 km from Grotto Beach,The Potting Shed Accommodation is situated in the town of Hermanus along the Whale Route. It features barbecue facilities and a swimming pool. Potting Shed rooms are decorated in neutral tones and each feature individual local wall art. Rooms are equipped with tea-and-coffee-making facilities, a satellite TV, a safe and en-suite bathrooms. Owner-run guesthouse with hand-painted interiors provide an artistic, unique, personal touch. Enjoy home made jam, bread, rusks & cookies. Situated less than 1km from town & sea (where whales can be seen from the cliff path between June & November).
Following a 3 week holiday in 2003, we feel in love with Hermanus. Within months we'd sold our house in UK, quit our jobs, & started a new life in SA. Huge renovations over several years & The Potting Shed was transformed!! We've never looked back.
Situated 1km from town, sea, cliff-path & Fernkloof Nature Reserve. Quad bike through the vineyards, wine taste, sea kayak, whale watch, or visit the penguins! Shark cage diving 40 minutes from here. Book with us for a special discount!
