Ibis Locarno is een modern, volledig rookvrij hotel en is gelegen in het hart van Locarno. The location is superb. You are just a few minutes from the pier for catching boats. You are a short walk from the bus stop taking you to Ascona (Bus no 1). Plus 2 stops away in the direction for the train station. The hotel gives you the Ticino card for your stay so you don't have to pay for public transport. You are also near the main square in Locarno. Staff were super friendly, giving me an adapter to charge the phone, giving me directions to a sports shop as I needed a new walking stick. They also offered a free Express Breakfast because I had used Booking. I didn't pay for breakfast but it did look good. All in all it exceeded my expectations because I had stayed in Ibis hotels before.

Dit moderne hotel ligt aan de oostelijke rand van Sion, vlak bij de snelweg A9 en op slechts 2 km van de luchthaven van Sion. Alles. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal. Kamers waren super ruim en groot. Het eten was lekker en het was een gezellig terras met een zeer nette correcte bediening

Het Ibis Chur ligt in het zuidelijke deel van Chur, dichtbij de snelweg A13, een belangrijke route naar Ticino en Italië. Very distinctive shape and easy to find. We arrived in Chur main station and caught the local train to Chur West. It's only 5 to 10 minutes walk depending on your speed. It's pretty flat too. Reception was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, bathroom had toiletries and towels. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. There are a lot of eating places within a short distance from the hotel. McDonald's is under the building . We walked over the road a few metres and went to Balkan Grill. Lovely staff there too. The breakfast was good and as much as you want. Upon arrival at the hotel, the receptionist gave us a ticket each for the public transport. We used it to go and explore Chur. We also used it the next day to get to Chur main station, didn't need to walk back to Chur West. Thank you to the team there.
