A lovely spot, with a tranquil garden and small swimming pool (it can get very hot in Barreal when I was there in January!) The only downside is it's a 2km walk to the nearest restaurant, but there is a nearby corner store and kitchen where you can cook, so it's ideal for someone staying a few days. (I was only there for one night).

Amazing little gem with lovely staff. It’s basically a boutiquey farm stay. The owner has free walking sheep on the property which is fascinating to watch. It’s also the home of lots of birds, cats and dogs so if you dont like animals, that’s not the place to stay. You can also use their kitchen to cook and the swimming pool is perfect to cool down after a day of hiking. We absolutely loved it.
