My room was very comfortable, clean, and cozy decorated Bavarian style. The breakfast assortment buffet style had such a great variety with delicious german food that was put together with lots of care each and every day.. The service was friendly & outstanding. The restaurant offers a delicious Bavarian menu, which is very beneficial if you don't want to leave the house again after a long day. Landgasthof Augustiner is located in the heart of Oberstdorf only 6 min away from the train/ bus station. There are many stores and other restaurants around that can all be reached by foot. I came by train and did not need a car to get around.

Situated in Waltenhofen in the Bavaria Region, 25 km from Oberstdorf, Gästehaus zur Krone boasts a children's playground. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.

Our host was a very kind lady with positive vibes and she made sure we were very comfortable during our stay. I recommend this guesthouse if you are planning to hike or do activities around Oberstdorf. We are already looking forward to coming back here during summer :)
