We had an excellent 4 days stay at Villa Nagara in a double room with balcony overlooking the Nam Kahn river. We were not expecting such high quality at this price point! The colonial style hotel was recently refurbished and everything was in great condition. The room was very spacious and bright (corner room with 4 large windows). It had a cozy and traditional design with white walls, dark wooden floors and furniture, a poster-bed and colourful pillows and bedside lamps. It really had everything for a comfortable stay: comfy bed, sofa & coffee table, desk, wardrobe, ceiling fan & AC, fridge, kettle, TV, modern & large bathroom with toiletries & a range of wrapped amenities. Location is perfect as the hotel is in the historical district, within close walking distance of the main stretch and all the main attractions. It is very central yet quiet and peaceful. There is cleaning service everyday and Adam the manager was very helpful and always reachable. All in all one of the best value accommodation we had during our trip in Southeast Asia! Very highly recommended!

Good Location, Close to everything that all I needed.

You can't beat this location. This was my second stay. The night market literally starts at the entrance! The food is great, the rooms are large, the decor is nice, and the staff hard working. Rooftop bar and pizza are amazing!

A charming, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. The Apsara is a real treasure, and a place one would happily return to on future visits.

This was my second time at Ancient Luang Prabang Hotel. I had the same room and excellent service. The young and friendly staff, led by Khamla, the manager, are amazing and considering they have endured a sever lockdown during Covid and maintained the prémices in perfect condition is a testament to their abilities. Breakfast is excellent with a choice of Western or Lao (2 Luang Prabang specialities), my bed was very comfortable as was the room. Will come again as soon as I can!
