We booked our one-night stay at the Nag’s Head at the last minute and quite randomly, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience. The room was spotless and very comfortable, the location peaceful, and the staff (Zoey in particular) were incredibly kind and helpful. We also really enjoyed a delicious dinner in the pub. The place totally exceeded our expectations, with amazing value for money and thoughtful touches like excellent shower products. Highly recommended!

I had a homemade chicken pie and a butternut squash and ginger soup that was just lovely. It was paired with a local Bluestone porter. There is a dolmen onsite that was discovered during a renovation and just around the corner from the building is Carreg Coetan Arthur. The room where breakfast is served is enclosed in glass and overlooks a garden setting that was charming even in winter.
