Set in the rural region of Perthshire, the Meikleour Arms is located at the heart of the conservation village of Meikleour, well known for its impressive trees and salmon fishing. Located only 12 miles from Perth, the Meikleour Arms was built in 1820 on one of the oldest historical estates in East Scotland. We stayed at The Stable Cottages. It was very clean and every nook and cranny was cleaned. The room was very spacious and much nicer than it looked in the photos. And the staff were also very friendly and helpful. It was convenient because you could basically eat dinner at any time. Breakfast was average. The grounds are very large and it was fun to walk around. We will definitely choose this hotel when staying in the area.

The Tormaukin restaurant offers a superb menu of locally sourced meat, fish and seafood. There is a good selection of local ales and whiskies. Fantastic stay! Very friendly and welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere, and a comfortable room. Everything felt warm and well looked after. Would definitely return.
