Atsu responded to reassure that our commute concern would be solved. He would pick us up and drop off at Hosono station. The price of the hotel was very affordable and could walk to train station if having no luggage. Atsu was very accommodating to our trip plan change. He was thoughtful to drop us to the Shinano-Matsukawa station that the waiting area was warmer & was in town. Guest rooms were on the 2nd floor of a Curry Restaurant. Atsu helped carrying the suitcase up to the room & brought us furniture that we needed. He was also the chef of the restaurant. The food was yummy. We highly recommended this

They were really helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was unique as it was previously a cafe and it was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Everything you'll need from Ski Hire/Restaurants/Ski Schools/Lift/Lift Pass is in Ezcal Plaza which is only a couple minutes walk away, this is super convenient especially for skiers carrying heavy equipment and wearing stiff boots. Our host, Nicolas is also very kind and would do his very best to make sure our stay is as comfortable as possible. Appreciate him for taking the time to pick us up from Hakuba Happo bus stop to the accommodation during our arrival as well as dropping us off when we're leaving Hakuba. Super nice guy also easily reachable via whatsapp if you need anything Love our room as well, we get a panoramic view of the Ski area for you to watch as people fall on their ski/snowboard which was cool. Our initial worry was that there might be a lot of noise staying so close to the action, fortunately it was pretty quiet and we slept soundly in all our 4 nights stay. The room has both a space heater and AC to keep you warm. The accommodation has shared facilities like dedicated room for storing ski equipment, a washing machine, and also a fully equipped kitchen we're free to use, Nicolas also provided fresh pastries on the counter, and some food in the fridge.

The room is warm and cozy. The bed is very comfortable. It’s a perfect choice for your ski trip or exploring the area in the green season. The hotel is close to convenience store open from 10am to 20pm there are restaurant and cafes nearby. There is a big ski room, and you can dry your gears. You can buy your ski-pass with a discount directly at the holes. The owner and the staff are amazing. the breakfast is lovely. I will come back! MADARO mountain is great!

Had a delightful 2-night stay at Koguma no ie during a Nozawa ski trip. The location could not be better. Strap on your skis at the front door and you're a 30-second cruise to the chairlift. It is a short and easy walk to the center of town. Our room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The owners were incredibly kind and prepared a great breakfast every morning. The bath at the end of a cold day was a very special treat! Adorable spot at a great value. Will be back!

Location was ideal, ten minute walk to happy one gondola lift. The private room was fab and very spacious with lots of space for hanging cloths and suitcases etc. breakfast was basic but did the job, toast, jams etc, yogurt granola honey and miso soup! There were lots of bars and restaurants within two-five minute walks. Staff were kind, easy going and helpful and you can buy lift tickets from them. Also get a discount at woody rental for ski gear!
