I booked a stay with dinner included. The dinner was phenomenal! Anything that involved cooking in a broth or was in a semi-liquid state was amazing! I wanted to find more of what I ate outside the hotel but this has been the place so far! Onsen was clean. Basics achieved: WiFi fast and stable. Edible amenities: One mochi thing. Smell: None.

Very easy to find, they even hung a plate with my name on the door. I could basically use the entire second floor. The owner took me by car to a dinner place, the hot springs and to the train station. Very kind! Breakfast was very generous as well.

Mayuko-san is very friendly and accommodating, she cooked a small dinner for the guests when I was there and told us about traditional Japanese dance. A very lovely guest house!

I guess you get what you pay for. There were other nearby resorts that looked desirable after staying only one night here. The innkeeper and his wife were very kind and spoke some English, although not willing to accommodate with use of bath after we checked out and went SUP-ing the next day.

Truly a gem, if you don’t know where to stay in the region and wants a nice cosy and affordable guest house, this is the place. Besides, breakfast and dinner are included. It’s clean, people are really nice.
