Our room was lovely, clean and very comfortable and the location good, but the 10 rating really goes to the overall experience we enjoyed there. We stayed for two nights at New Year, so was able to enjoy both a comedy evening and on New Years Eve itself an excellent blues band in the Fox's Lair - the basement bar of the Inn. The Fox's Lair is a really welcoming and friendly bar - in fact we felt as if we had been invited to a friends party! It has a reputation for attracting good musicians and it certainly lived up to the billing. Many basement music bars have an unkempt and grubby feel but this is certainly not the case here. The host Melinda is really nice and extremely helpful. We would definitly recommend.

Absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend booking if you get the chance. Short distance to the filming locations of the walking dead. Spotless clean great room layout and the bed is huge and very comfortable. Best sleep we had in the US hands down! We are traveling with two small kids one ten month old, one two year old the host mentioned something about only having one baby cot/crib on the property so that might be something to consider when booking but there was masses of room in the bed for our baby with us. Overall a great experience and definitely a highlight stay of our roadtrip across the US.

The Sparrow Grove Manor is a lovely place with 4 suite in Monroe, Georgia, about halfway between Atlanta and Athens. It‘s a nicely renovated old house, having preserved its original Southern charme. Our room was spacious with an adjacent bathroom, all very clean. All access information is provided online and access is by an entrance key. However, communication with the owner was easy and answers were provided very quickly. We’d like to come back!

Mary our Inn keeper was beyond amazing, her breakfast ever morning was delicious. I have never stayed anywhere so beautiful and beyond clean. There is nothing about this place I could fault. 100% recommend. I will definitely have to stay there again.
