But it was a very pleasant surprise. The owner live in the building and renting out two nice rooms in the main Building and one room in a little house in the backyard. They where very nice people with great advices for our trip in Bar Harbor and the two dogs where an added bonus. - Everything is very new and nicely furnished and decorated. - Breakfast is homecooked every morning and was exceptional! - Awesome place to also meet other guests and exchange about the vacation planing

When we arrived, someone gave us a tour of the hotel. Subsequently, she suggested places to visit or eat, and remained available for our questions. plus there was always freshly prepared food on the table. it was very warm. in addition to the smell of the hotel which was very pleasant. Ultimately, the meals were very good. it was homemade food made with love. they were very respectful of my gluten allergy. If we visit again, this hotel is gonna be our first choice!
