The reception was very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay great. They spoke excellent English as well. The pool area is a paradise and the breakfast was very good. Although the hotel is not beachfront they have a waterfront beach club a short walk away. Barra Grande can be a very windy place so the location away from the beach gives you a break from the near-constant wind.

The breakfast was incredible, and the staff was incredibly helpful (they even helped us change a flat tire!). They greeted us with champagne and gave us water bottles for our onward trip. It was so cool that they had poetry in each room! The room was excellent, the decoration was tasteful. Highly recommended.
