Even better than the photos. Very friendly welcome from Tomas, who kindly left wine, chocolates and essentials. Lots of space and sitting areas. Pool table was great. Appreciated all the little touches to make it an extra special stay.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Exceptional breakfast. It officially starts at 8 but coffee was available much earlier, which was a great bonus for the two early birds like us.

Spacious villa, very responsive host, all clean and exactly as described. Secluded location away from touristic areas of the island - car is a must have - exactly what we looked for and expected from this place. It was also great that the swimming pool had the heating option - useful during the winter time.

I enjoyed my stay very much, the owners were always willing to comply with the request, I would highlight the variety of breakfast and the pleasant atmosphere of the environment, a tip: go to the mountain of Montana Blanca at sunrise, it's half an hour from the hotel at a brisk pace, worth it.

Have to say this was better than our expectations. We had done a lot of research and settled on Lava Beach Hotel due to the reviews. Firstly all the staff are great, very friendly and hard working to please everyone. The staff in the bars and restaurants are really attentive and switched on. The food is outstanding with a buffet selection to make your eyes pop… and your belly!... Soo much choice and it tastes amazing. The room was brilliant with more than you could expect. We had a suite over looking the pool and could not fault it. Very clean and packed with lots of nice touches… very luxurious! There are 2 pools and an outside jacuzzi. The bottom pool is only 0.4m in depth with 4 built in jacuzzi style loungers and definitely good fun to use. This was a very tranquil hotel especially around the pool, at times you could hear a pin drop. I think everybody appreciated that. One of the best things is they have a sun lounger policy. You cannot reserve one by dumping things on them before 10am. Either you have to be on it (or obviously in the pool), or they will remove everything. Works a treat! … There are more than enough very comfy sun loungers for everyone all in good positions! A very clean and modern hotel, yet has charm and warmth. There is a lot of attention to detail which if you watch the staff you will see, even using a spoon & fork to place the serviette's on the table. The Spa is great and shouldn't be overlooked as it has some nice facilities of its own. The 60min back and neck treatment I received was incredible.
