Great location on the shore of the lake. Easy to get to from the train station. Felt like we were on a cruise as our room opened to a balcony on the water. Very helpful staff. Lovely restaurant on site with range of regional dishes and picturesque views. One of the nicest places we have stayed in Italy.

The hosts were so nice , attentive , great breakfast by the lake and one thing they should advertise more is that they own the boat rental facility which is so great you can hire a boat and discover the lake and return straight to the property , no other hotel has this!! Thank you again!!

An Unforgettable Stay! I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious – every meal was a treat, prepared with care and full of flavor. The service was truly exceptional; the staff were not only professional, but incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. One of the highlights of my stay was enjoying breakfast with a breathtaking view. Freshly squeezed juices, a wide variety of options, and that morning scenery made each day start perfectly. The rooms were stunning – beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean thanks to daily housekeeping. This hotel offered everything I could possibly ask for. I can’t wait to come back!

A wonderful place to stay when visiting Varenna. The room was excellent—spacious, clean, and equipped with a washing machine, which is especially convenient for long trips like us when you need to do some laundry. The breakfast was good, and the lady at reception was very kind and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the trail walk down the hill to Varenna town, where I discovered an amazing restaurant. Walking back up trail to the hotel after dinner was an unforgettable experience

From the moment we stepped through the doors, we knew this hotel was something special and the perfect place for our honeymoon. The warm welcome from Luca instantly made us feel like a valued guest rather than just a reservation number. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with every comfort We could have wished for . The view from our window and balcony was breathtaking and was exactly how it seemed from the photos advertised. Service here deserves special mention. Every staff member (family member) We encountered radiated genuine hospitality. They went above and beyond to anticipate our needs before we even voiced them. Whether it was arranging transportation, offering local recommendations, or remembering our breakfast order by the second morning, their attention to detail was impeccable. The on-site dining breakfast was an indulgent spread of fresh pastries, seasonal fruits, and made-to-order dishes, all served in a serene, beautiful setting looking over the mountains and lake. Location-wise, the hotel was ideal — close enough to the main attractions for easy access, yet tucked away enough to provide peace and quiet at the end of the day, or if you just wanted to relax for the day. In a world where true hospitality can be rare, this hotel sets the gold standard. Every moment of our stay felt carefully curated to ensure comfort. We left with our hearts full, our expectations exceeded, and a promise to our selves that we’ll be back soon. A family run hotel which offers a 5 star experience.

Chiara was our wonderful hostess and she made our stay even better! She was attentive, kind and very knowledgeable and cared alot about the property, so much that I thought she owned it!😆 that's a great quality to have. I highly recommend checking out their newly added wellness cave spa!!! So beautiful, innovative and relaxing and right on site!

This property was absolutely gorgeous! Very clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful (particularly Stefano and an English gentleman - sorry I can't remember your name) The private beach is just beautiful and so relaxing. The rooms are a bit small and the bathrooms a bit old fashioned but you don't really notice it because the facilities are so lovely. The view from our balcony was just stunning. I would definitely stay here again, very peaceful and a fabulous restaurant overlooking the lake - amazing!

Gorgeous terrace right on the lake, great spot for a swim and then hot tub and drink after. Terrace gets the sun until late in the evening. Huge rooms and lovely bathrooms

The hotel building and gardens are excellent and is positioned on the lake front. There is full access straight on to the lake which gives the hotel a great relaxed feeling. The bedroom and bathroom views were very good.
