A very charming place to stay! It is in a beautiful and quiet location and you can easily drive to Amsterdam in 20mins or so (although try to organise pre-paid parking to avoid high day rates). The restaurant onsite is fabulous and the staff are very friendly. It is so much better than paying for a mediocre hotel in the city.

I liked everything about this place, not only is this place an amazing place to relax and unwind, it feels like a home. It's lovingly decorated and a lot of thought has gone into making it comfortable. There is a large lounge area with sofas, a TV and also a lounge bed and a tiny snug to relax on/in. There is bean bags and instruments like bongos, guitar, didgeridoo's around the estate if you're feeling musical. There is lots of ambient lighting, orniments like budda heads and crystals which add to the awesome energy of this place. The countryside in which it is situated is also beautiful with canals and waterways splitting the bright green fields in every direction. There is a bike rental near by and the cycle into Mijdrecht is flat and fairly easy with great sights of local wildlife and farm animals. Mijdrecht it's self is great too and has nice restaurants, supermarkets and a good coffeeshop. Staying in this home was a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience that me and my friends will definitely be booking again.

Normally I only give a review if everything goes wrong or everything is perfect. This is defiantly the second case. That was a perfect stay. The hotel itself was wonderful. A large building with a beautiful surrounding. A stunning garden (especially in autumn) and a large parking with 4 charging ports for the EV cars. Parking: parking in the center is really hard to find and not cheap, so I was very happy to find this hotel with a parking in the city. Parking is not free but still cheaper than when parking on the street. Restaurant is open for public so the parking might be busy in the evening Room: very large rooms, a lot of storage space and everything you really need. Room was very clean and quite. Style was modern but still respecting the classic design of the hotel. Restaurant/Bistro: they have a restaurant and a bistro. The bistro is the less expensive option. We only went to the bistro and really loved everything. Service was friendly, food was delicious. I really cant imagine what the restaurant could do better. Like mentioned the restaurant is open to public so you need to make a reservation Location: really perfect. You are in the city center, shopping street and touristic attraction are 5 minutes away. Despite the central location it is quite without any traffic noise. Staff: very friendly, always smiling and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and we are for sure coming back

Comfortable, warm and has everything you need for a short stay. The most important thing is that there are sweet, gorgeous pigs, sheep and deer literally right outside your door. The animals are clearly loved and have plenty of space to roam around, but will also come up to have a look, sniff or even pet when you come outside.

What gem of a person our host Ovi is! our flight was delayed and he stayed there for 2 hours waiting for us! showed how everything work in the property, available on phone, kept checking us if we need anything, Location is great by the canal, a house full with wonderful gadgets!
