Wonderful place! This place is a 15 out of 10! They make every effort to be eco-friendly and sustainable. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds and pillows very comfortable but the hidden gems are Juan Diego and Juan Camilo. Juan Diego takes care of the reception duties, arranging tours, all the cooking and many other duties. Juan Camilo is his right hand man and amazing server. We ate all our meals here during our 3-day stay. The dinner menu changes every day, with 2 choices for each of appetizers, mains and desserts. The food was delicious and expertly prepared and served. We felt like we were in a 5-star restaurant. They took care of our every need. It seemed like there was always something delicious available to us, almost all day long. We went on wonderful hikes and walks in the area, rather than drive.

Fabulous welcoming by friendly and helpful staff. We were lucky to be proposed a free upgrade to their suite which was an absolutely beautiful accommodation wtih Jacuzzi, Terasse and all. The Douro Suites' garden peaceful garden, library blend perfectly with the stunning river & region itself.

Amazing location with incredible view. House was super comfortable and well equipped. Nuno was an amazing host and provided us with great recommendations for the area as well as practical advice for when we spent the day in Porto. Very modern and clean. Linda who prepared breakfast was a super star.

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this little villa near the nicest beach on the river is! Nor to describe the host! August is hot and what better place to be than a few hundred feet from the beautiful sandy river beach, that you get to by walking across a private garden where you can eat outside and listen to the birds. Pedro was amazing as a host. He was always available to ask questions translate things with his perfect English (he too had lived in London for many years). My partner and I have been nomads for 7 years living mostly in airbnbs in many countries - this was probably one of our top 3!

Wonderful place! This place is a 15 out of 10! They make every effort to be eco-friendly and sustainable. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this little villa near the nicest beach on the river is! Nor to describe the host! August is hot and what better place to be than a few hundred feet from the beautiful sandy river beach, that you get to by walking across a private garden where you can eat outside and listen to the birds. Pedro was amazing as a host. He was always available to ask questions translate things with his perfect English (he too had lived in London for many years). My partner and I have been nomads for 7 years living mostly in airbnbs in many countries - this was probably one of our top 3!
