A secluded gem away from the hustle and bustle of the town with all the things one needs. A great place to relax with your partner amid the rolling hills above Montagu. Definitely one of the more romantic and unique properties around. Loved the outside hot tub, the fireplace and the braai area. The open plan setup allows for wonderful morning light and memorable sunsets. Very cozy for winter weekend getaways. The complimentary bottle of bubbly was much appreciated and Willem was such an attentive host.

Oakron is very well situated at the foot of the mountain and from inside the view is stunning..totally relaxing! The stone built in hot tub is by far the easiest hot tub I ever light ... no hazzles. We were welcome with a warmup hot tub and heat could easily be control. We love the spacious open plan with everything on hand. We left Oakron, Patasfontein filled with memories forever!

The natural surroundings. The peace and quiet. The comforts. The spaciousness. The design flow of the cottage. The views. The hot tub. The pool. The fans. The gas stove and oven during loadshedding. The flowers, cupcakes and fresh fruit welcome. The 2 bathrooms.

we stayed in the honeymoon cottage which was an absolute delight. it was like staying in a little museum with so much to explore, including some books to read to get you acquainted to your surrounds. the scenery from verandah hot tub and lounges was amazing and all the small kitchen and braai amenities were plentiful. there is a little loop track to run on and farm dogs and birdlife coming to visit. the bathtub has to be one of the best views in montagu. was rustic but comfy.

The overall location and actual setting on the property is outstanding. Darlene is so welcoming and helpful, an asset to the establishment. The decor and fittings in a most generously proportioned room made the visit so great. The steam shower and jacuzzi bath are such a bonus. So great to wander along the pathways in lovely gardens and quirky spaces. An absolute jem in Montague.

Loved the room layout, the braai area, lounge and bathrooms and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the necessities. Like the jacuzzi downstairs as well and was very welcome in the cold weather.
