We felt very welcome and comfortable during our stay. The rooms, the veranda with hammock, and the pool and jacuzzi are all great places to relax after a long day. Also great that you have the opportunity for dinner on the farm in case you don’t want to drive anymore. Lastly, we did an amazing quad ride organized by La Finca Lodge, which we would recommend to everyone.

The location was perfect close enough to the town center yet peacefully overlooking the volcano. I had one of the best rooms with a direct volcano view. The hotel is beautifully set in the middle of the jungle, with stunning views of the volcano 🌋. The jacuzzi was exceptional and the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long, activity filled day.

Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails also features an on-site bird sanctuary that has around 500 different species of birds; other recommended activities include tours of Arenal Volcano's lava flows, exploring the several nearby waterfalls, or climbing the 28 m. (92 ft.) wildlife observation tower, The Nest. Arenal Lake is an excellent site to practice sports fishing. There are also 11 km of walking trails throughout the property, or guests can just relax in the hot tub or have a massage in the spa. It's such a beautiful place. We were in the main building which was very convenient. The rooms are ok, the pool and jacuzzi are great, breakfast is big and very good. The views are amazing, animals everywhere... It's a great place.

Accommodation for disabled guests is also available at the property. Amazing location and facilities. It felt like we were in a tropical paradise. The tents were large, spacious, clean and comfortable, surrounded by lush vegetation. The ladies at reception were so friendly and helpful. They organised all of our tours and called a taxi when we needed one. The facilities around the property were spectacular, and we loved getting to swim in the pool at night. It felt magical. It was quite overcast while we were there, so we didn’t have the view of the volcano, but that didn’t detract from the amazing environment at all. Great variety for breakfast. Close to many restaurants and the town centre. Highly recommend!

Speaking English and Spanish, staff are ready to help around the clock at the reception. It was clean and creepy crawly free. Everyone did such a great job to keep the grounds clean and safe. They went above and beyond. Any question I had it was answered and always good recommendations.
