Located among the hills and on the shore of Lake Hámori in Lillafüred, Hotel Palota Lillafured is set in a neo-renaissance castle built in 1930. Staff was friendly and professional. Location is awesome. The view. The garden. The variety of activities around the property. The gardener (who is a very friendly and knowledgeable person). The room was clean and spacious with large balcony.

This was without a doubt the best accommodation on our road trip trough Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Czech Republic. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The lovely quiet village of Hercegkút is a hidden under the radar gem in the Tokaj wine region, in the East of Hungary. To see and visit the 'Hobbit' style wine cellars there was a unique experience we preferred to the unfortunately now commercialised Valley of the Beautiful Women in Eger, which was like Hercegkút back in the 80s. We especially loved the boutique hotel feel of Hotel Kőporos, its location, the large terraces and phantastic views our rooms had, the aircon, the breakfast, the pool, in short EVERYTHING! It was not the cheapest accommodation of our trip but the price was reasonable for what we got.

We recently stayed at this property and overall had a pleasant experience. The hospitality was excellent, and the place was impeccably tidy and clean. The 2 bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable,( each room has 1 large double bed and 1 sofa that can be made into a double bed) The rest of the house is rather small and compact. All was beautifully prepared when we arrived, and the air- conditioning was already on to warm the place!! The property is well looked after, well-equipped with all the essentials, and very clean. The owners, whom we communicated with via WhatsApp, were incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. In conclusion, although there were some small drawbacks, such as the lack of window screens to keep the local bugs out, the property was well-maintained and met our needs. We would consider returning in the future and recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Palantír Panzió ligger i Miskolc og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi og have med en terrasse og udsigt til byen. picturesque, quiet and safe traditional neighborhood (Avas hill, Avas church, Avas tower, Rossita Italian restaurant), one block (a couple-minute walk) from the heart of Miskolc, spacious and clean room with large window overlooking the hill and 2 skylights, 4 comfy beds, toasty warm adjustable temperature (central AND in-floor heating), handy kitchenette (loved the electric tea kettle and the in-room fridge) and also shared dining area, lovely original artwork, super safe free parking (BIG plus), helpful staff, easy access (entrance codes, wifi, messaging). We stayed at the panzio in December. It must be gorgeous in spring and summer with all the green in the neighborhood and the outdoor areas at the property.
