Each morning began with a generous farmhouse breakfast: fragrant local cheeses, cold cuts, and jams all produced locally and bursting with flavor. Host Fabrizio embodies Italian hospitality. Although we arrived later than planned, he greeted us like old friends and with much care. Later, He personally opened the jacuzzi so we could unwind and relax. Throughout our visit, he checked in with genuine warmth, offered thoughtful tips on hiking trails and village trattorias, and made absolutely sure we lacked for nothing. Campo del Pillo is one of those rare places that feels both homely and special. Perfect for slowing down, breathing deep, and savoring life’s simple pleasures. We recommend it wholeheartedly and already look forward to our return.

Great restaurant for dinner with amazing local wine. Tasty breakfast with everything you could ask for- eggs, ham, cheese etc. (nothing is charged extra!). All from local suppliers! Rustic feel, home-like atmosphere. Nothing fancy but you are in the middle of countryside. Our apartment was equipped with everything we needed to cook lunch (including condiments), plenty of towels (fyi: indoors use only, you need to bring own or pay extra for pool towels) and comfortable beds.
