A special shoutout to Yuca, who made us feel so welcome, happy and put a smile on our faces with her positive and enthusiastic energy! Proof that good communication and hospitality is not only speaking the same language. 10/10 experience!

Ryoko our host was incredible, from meeting at the train station offering a free shuttle service, she was charming and incredibly respectful. The property is homely, warm and even more beautiful than the images. The property is super luxurious and stylish and restored to the highest level with outstanding traditional Japanese craftsmanship. It felt like we stayed in a property that would feature in a Kinfolk Magazine, that is how contemporary stylish and beautiful this charming property is. The zen like qualities made us feel calm and relaxed from the moment we stepped foot inside. Everything we needed to hand. The beds superbly comfortable with luxurious bedding. The bathroom stylish yet comfortable and luxurious overlooking the zen garden, having a soak in the temperature controlled bath tub was exactly what we needed after a long and exhausting journey. Ryoko offered a free laundry service. It was not only kind but very helpful. The breakfast served daily in Angolo Cafe situated at the front of the property was delicious. She kept the menu interesting with daily different offerings of outstanding quality food. The coffee is unbelievable! Even the WiFi was on point. We cannot recommend this property enough. We are so glad this was our first property and stay in Japan, best choice. Would stay here again. Location is perfect. 10 minutes walk from train station, 10 minutes walk to Omichi Market.

Next to the entrance to the castle park, near Hakucho promenade (shortcut to Kenroku’en garden and Ishikawa gate), near Ōmichō fish market, and not far from the Higashi Chaya geisha area) Perfect tatami room and very clean Japanese bathroom with a hot bath to relax.

Everything was perfect: the place was spotless, modern, and felt brand new. The kitchen was fully equipped, and having both a washing machine and dryer was a big plus. The rooms were cozy and spacious. Parking right in front of the door was very convenient. We received a warm welcome and excellent support throughout our stay through our great host.

The pictures in Booking doesn’t even make justice. It is decorated with a lot of taste. It is super clean and comfortable. And it has a small table outside which is very rare thing in japan.

Location and the size of the property. The property is very centrally located, just 15 minutes walk to the fish market the Kenroku-en and the garden. There are restaurants nearby and also come with a parking just across the street which was very handy. The host always responds my message in a minute, which was very good. Also, the house even did not look very big outside, it was actually very big, I love the setting of the bathroom. As we have an elderly travelling with us, it was so difficult to find a property that has bedroom downstairs.

Yuta the host was one of the best hosts we have ever had. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. He continued to ensure that we were able to make reservations for dinner, or book an experience with his help. He is the pinnacle of hospitality and we are so honored to have stayed at this beautiful place.
