Excellent location, modern hotel with traditional rooms and meal plans, which were seasonal. Lovely attitude from the staff! You can leave your luggage at the reception before check-in/after check-out. The tatami beds were really comfortable and everything was clean. Loved the private bath!

Hotel Morinokaze Hakone Sengokuhara ligger i Hakone, 12 km fra Hakone-Yumoto Station, og har en have, en terrasse og en bar samt gratis privat parkering. Great stay! Loved the design of our room and having 2 separate beds allowed us to rest and recharge. Sadly we had only 1 onsen on the balcony, so we took turns with my husband. There was a cd player with several Jazz collections. Restaurant food was delicious and the staff made sure to explain the menu and answer all the questions we had. Most of the time they’d use the portable translators. Hot springs/ spa area was rotated every morning, so we got to experience both bath areas. My favorite treat was the vinegar drink after the baths.

The owner is very helpful and the place is very tidy, onsen is private and you can really enjoy it well. Highly recommended!!!

SAKE Kura Hotel 川崎宿 ligger i Kawasaki, 5,3 km fra Omori Hachiman Shrine. Her er en bar og værelser med aircondition. Staffs were very nice, the location was comfy as well. The room has no windows but it was very nice to rest and sleep. Wish that the breakfast has more options but all in all everything was good.

Set in Hakone’s natural beauty, Gora Kadan is located a 5-minute walk from Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Line. Guests can leisurely soak in the hot spring bath, relax with a massage treatment. Staff were very personal, friendly, and welcoming. Facilities are clean and the room is more spacious than depicted in the photos. Dinner was very impressive. Hotel and staff seemed particularly generous. We were offered pick up/chauffeuring services without even asking for it. The tourist destinations/day trip suggested by the staff was also very informative and felt perfect.

Virkelig sødt personale og utroligt fint værelse (vi boede på Japansk stil med egen onsen). Virkelig en følelse af, at være på en klassisk Ryokan.
