Despite my failing to communicate in a timely way everything was ready when we arrived. The owners tell us they have had an arrangement for years for kaiseki dinners to be delivered in, but they serve it as if you were in the restaurant and it is good quality and value for money. It's a single group booking only and although most of the house is very old, there is an up to date minkitchen if you want to make your own breakfast. Everything is well maintained. The bath is only outside access so in bad weather it could be a bit off-putting.

Hotel New Wakasa ligger mindre end 15 minutters gang fra Kintetsu Nara Station og har værelser i japansk stil med tatami-gulv (vævet halm). Amazing hospitality, amazing free guide to Jara Park, amazing room and the staff really helps you explain all Japanese traditions that come with these type of classical rooms and classical robes - which you are given to wear around the hotel and onzen, if you so choose. Custom lighting with dim too - super well hidden. And the daily cleaning was superb (I accidentally walked into the lady cleaner, so I saw everything she was cleaning, just in between days with is having the room). 余韻 奈良宿 - yoinn narayado ligger i Gojō, 28 km fra Subaru Hall. Her en have og grillfaciliteter samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Der er desuden røgfrie værelser. We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!

Beautiful renovated house in the middle of Nara countryside. Staff was extremely kind and attentive, we felt like we were in a japanese house. The woods surrounding the house were really beautiful, and food was really good - ideal for anyone wanting to escape and rest in a quiet area

This is a very large property with lots of space for a family. It’s Japanese style but there are also western style beds if you prefer. The owner is very kind and left many snacks and food for us to enjoy. She is an excellent communicator. The location is perfect - right next to Nara station

16 minutters gang fra Nara Station og 18 km fra Iwafune Shrine ligger Shikano Resort. Her er en have og gratis wi-fi. Wonderful stay! We were in town for a conference and really enjoyed the Shikano accomodation! It was very spacious, clean and all amenities (like iron, nice towels and bedding) were taken care of! The owner was very friendly and self checkin went very smooth. The quiet neighborhood really provides you with rest after a busy day. We loved it and would absolutely come again!

あまね庵 Villa Amane ligger ca. 36 km fra Subaru Hall. Her er balkon, kedel og bjergudsigt. Overnatningsstedet ligger 26 km fra Nara Station og har en have samt gratis privat parkering. This was our favorite place on our trip to Japan. We regret not spending more time there. The temple is sublime. Communication with the owner was very pleasant. An ideal place for a retreat to recharge your batteries.
