We were very well recieved, the house had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was perfect size and had everything you would need for the stay. The views from the cabin are amazing, so idillyc. Beds are amazingly comfortable, perfect place for a romantic getaway far from the buzy city. The surrounding area is so quiet, so beautiful, you feel like you are alone with nature. The host is very welcoming, they have this amazing old house that was built in 1907. There every interior detail was lovingly collected and created with so much attention to detail. You could see that the person who decorated it had so much love for the place. The same with cabins. Everything was made with comfort in mind. We also had dinner there in the old house, they had some very good pizza.

If you choose the Viking experience for dinner, prepare to be surprised. The feeling, the food, the entire setting—it’s something else. The fish dish in particular was incredibly fresh and simply prepared in the best way possible. It lets the flavor speak for itself. The Viking house is truly one of a kind. How can anything compare to that? Olef clearly loves his place and his history. He doesn’t just run the hotel—he lives it. He is a genuine Viking, and it shows in every part of what he’s created here.

Villa Freya is an exeptional holiday home with really everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We stayed there with our children and their partners and felt right at home immediately. I had an unforgettable weekend at this countryside house. The combination of beautiful surroundings, a cozy atmosphere, delicious home-cooked meals, and the warmth of the hosts made this a weekend to remember. What made this stay so special was how it felt like visiting good friends. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the inviting and carefully decorated space - every corner felt cozy and full of charm. The hospitality of the hosts, a lovely couple, was outstanding. They prepared both breakfast and dinner, and we shared these meals together, talking and enjoying the food made with love. Their recommendations for hikes and viewpoints helped make my weekend both relaxing and fulfilling.
